Excite - how to use it correctly - exciting or excited? Exciting news

Excitement noun, 

exciting adjective, 

excited (past) and passive. I am excited. I was excited. 

Table topics is exciting. She always excites us.

excited - passive

exciting - active

excite - not to be confused with exit

exiting - leaving

exciting - arousing interest and emotion
